Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar role preferred.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and vehicle diagnostics.
Experience using diagnostic software and shop equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles.
Perform preventive maintenance services, inspections, and repairs.
Inspect, test, and repair engines, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
Change tires and perform general fleet maintenance as needed.
Complete vehicle inspections and ensure equipment meets safety standards.
Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
Work safely and follow company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Assist with additional shop and fleet maintenance duties as assigned.
