About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience in heavy-duty diesel engines, specifically Cummins engines and diesel emissions (DEF) systems. The ideal candidate is a dependable, self-motivated professional with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. This is a full-time position with shift hours from Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (journeyman level preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Cummins engines and diesel systems
- Experience working with DEF and emissions systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, if applicable)
Nice To Haves
- OEM or ASE certifications
- Experience with diagnostic software and tools
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related components
- Perform troubleshooting on engine, electrical, and emissions systems
- Service and repair DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) and aftertreatment systems
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
- Accurately document work performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
