About The Position

The role of the Diesel Mechanic is to perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles in a fast-paced environment. Ben's Truck and Trailer Service (BTTS), a PS Logistics company, plays an essential role in maintaining and repairing Class 8 Tractors and Trailers. Requirements

• Verifiable experience in the field or completion of relevant schooling.
• Possess own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles.
• Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicles in operation to diagnose and resolve malfunctions, and plan work procedures.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain a designated workspace in an organized and clean manner.
• Perform any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and/or management.
