Diesel Mechanic
About The Position
We’re looking for skilled Diesel Mechanics at all experience levels to service and maintain our fleet of Volvo, Mack, Freightliner, and Isuzu reefer trucks. You’ll work alongside a skilled, supportive team in a shop that invests in your training, tools, and long-term career development. Schedules Available Tue–Sat : 1pm–9pm Sun–Thu: 1pm–9pm Compensation based on experience A - Level / Senior Mechanic: $40/hr. (5+ years) B - Level / Intermediate Mechanic: $35/hr. (2 – 5 years) C - Level / Entry Mechanic: $25 – $30/hr. (0 – 2 years) Plus: All positions are eligible for up to $10.50/hr. in additional premiums: CDL class A, and Class B. Welding, EPA 609, Shift Differentials, Advanced Diagnostic Tools experience.
Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate skill level based on experience
- Ability to safely lift and handle heavy components and meet the physical demands of a hands-on role
- Ability to conduct inspections and test drives to confirm repair quality on various motor vehicles
- CDL Class A or B (or willingness to obtain) with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Must pass a drug test due to operation of commercial motor vehicle
- Ability to maintain detailed service records and repair logs
- Commitment to keeping shop equipment clean, safe, and running smoothly
