About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Keasbey, NJ. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on Switchers and Yard Goats, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and conducting inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. The technician will also be responsible for accurately documenting repairs, completing work orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Collaboration with supervisors and team members is essential to support fleet operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ of hands-on experience performing
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen
