About The Position
Martin Transportation Systems is growing and seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic for their 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm). This role involves performing diagnostics, repairs, and general maintenance on a fleet of Freightliner Tractors and trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience with Class 8 diagnostic tools and be comfortable with light computer work. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working on all makes and models of Class 8 trucks.
- Experience using Class 8 diagnostic tools.
- Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers.
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and perform general maintenance.
- Ability to perform general maintenance on Freightliner Tractors.
- Ability to perform general maintenance on trailers.
- Must have own basic tools.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform general maintenance on Class 8 trucks and trailers.
- Perform general maintenance on Freightliner Tractors.
- Conduct trailer repairs, services, and welding.
- Utilize Class 8 diagnostic tools.
- Perform light computer work.
