About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a busy repair operation. This position is ideal for someone confident in diagnosing engine problems, completing major repairs, and working independently. The role involves diesel engine and mechanical system diagnostics and repair, engine rebuilds and overhauls, component replacement, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and service documentation. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM, and Saturday, 7 AM–1 PM. Pay is $28+/hr, depending on experience. The position is described as long-term temp-to-hire with weekly pay.

Requirements

• 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Strong engine diagnostics and rebuild experience
• Knowledge of diesel components and repair procedures

Nice To Haves

• CDL
• Field service experience

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems
• Perform engine rebuilds, overhauls, and component replacements
• Troubleshoot turbochargers, fuel systems, and cooling systems
• Use diagnostic scanners and testing equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance and service documentation
