About The Position

This position involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, with a primary focus on forklifts. The role also includes performing regular check-ups and preventive maintenance on diesel-powered tractors, live haul trailers, and feed haul trailers. Responsibilities also extend to troubleshooting faults, repairing or replacing defective components, and inspecting and diagnosing trailer malfunctions. Other relevant duties to the position may also be assigned.

Requirements

• Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record required.
• Working knowledge of diesel mechanics required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment (primarily forklifts).
• Perform regular, routine check-ups and preventive maintenance on diesel powered tractors, live haul trailers and feed haul trailers.
• Troubleshoot faults, repairing or replacing defective/damaged components.
• Inspect and diagnose trailer malfunctions.
