About The Position
We have an immediate position open for a Diesel Mechanic to work on our fleet of garbage trucks at our Gilmer, Texas location. This position is heavy in preventative maintenance, electrical, and hydraulics along with engine diagnosis and minor engine repair. We have an excellent management team. We offer stability and consistent overtime along with opportunity for advancement.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in heavy diesel truck maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Class A or B CDL is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on garbage trucks.
- Work on electrical systems.
- Work on hydraulic systems.
- Perform engine diagnosis.
- Perform minor engine repair.
