The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various vehicle components including brake systems, engines, electrical systems, steering systems, transmissions, drive trains, and tires for tractors, trailers, and refrigeration equipment. This role also involves performing preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, fluid checks, battery inspections, light testing, and equipment lubrication. The position requires establishing and maintaining positive working relationships, carrying out instructions, maintaining regular attendance, and performing other assigned duties.
