About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and/or heavy equipment. This role requires strong diagnostic skills in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing or replacing various vehicle components, conducting inspections for compliance, and accurately documenting all work performed. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, responding to emergency repairs, and adhering to company safety policies are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Cummins and Freightliner experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of diesel mechanic experience or equivalent technical training.
• Experience with diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
• Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Your own tools are welcome, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, trailers, and/or heavy equipment.
• Diagnostic skills in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air brake system issues.
• Repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspensions, steering components, etc.
• Complete inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Accurately document repairs, inspections, & maintenance performed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Respond to emergency repairs when needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
