About The Position

Pacific Rail Services (PRS) is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team at the BNSF St Louis rail terminal. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, outdoor environment where reliability and opportunity meet. Requirements

• 2+ years of mechanical experience, especially in preventive maintenance.
• Possession of own tools (with a yearly tool allowance provided).
• Experience working with air, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• A valid driver's license.
• No diploma or GED required.
• Pass a 7-year background check.
• Pass a drug test and IPCS Physical Capabilities Test.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, hostlers, and company vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair forklifts, hostlers, and company vehicles.
• Maintain air, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Perform welding and fabrication.
• Conduct routine maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance.
• Support the team with additional tasks as needed.
