About The Position

Martin Transportation Systems is seeking Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanics for full-time positions on either the 2nd or 3rd shift. We offer excellent benefits and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Detroit Engines and a recent model fleet of Freightliner Tractors and trailers. Light computer work and the ability to perform general maintenance are also required. Must possess own tools and have a good driving record. An Apprentice Program is available for those not fully qualified.

Requirements

• 1 year of Mechanic experience
• 1 year of Diesel Mechanic experience
• ASE certified or equivalent experience
• Fluent use of Class 8 software
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing Trucks &/or Trailers
• Be able to diagnose, repair and perform general maintenance
• Experience working with Detroit Engines
• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of Freightliner Tractors
• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of trailers
• Light Computer Work also requested
• Must have your own tools
• Good driving record necessary

Responsibilities
