WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Fire Apparatus & Emergency Vehicle Technician, you’ll be the expert behind the equipment first responders rely on every day. You will: Diagnose, repair, and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles Work on automotive, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks Service Fire and EMS vehicles, small gas engines, and supporting equipment Apply hands-on mechanical skills that directly impact safety and performance
Requirements
- A self-starter with a positive, can-do mindset
- CDL B with Air Brakes, or ability to obtain within 1 year
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of diesel engines
- Familiarity with current automotive/truck/emergency vehicle maintenance practices
- ASE and/or EVT certifications
