About The Position

Build Your Career at Milestone Contractors! The Diesel Mechanic maintains a fleet of heavy duty trucks providing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. Essential Functions Maintain fleet of trucks Diagnosing and repairing heavy duty trucks and equipment Ability to communicate effectively to ensure efficient repairs are made Evaluate truck performance Inspect equipment Report mechanical issues and problems to shop manager Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent required
• 1+ years of diesel mechanic experience
• Diagnostic experience helpful
• Communication Proficiency
• Results Driven
• Stress Management/Composure
• Teamwork Orientation
• Detail Orientation
• Valid drivers license or CDL required

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications preferred
