You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles, including emergency roadside service. Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience working on light to medium duty vehicles.
- Strong communication skills to connect and communicate with customers and drivers.
- Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems, and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain or shine).
- Independent, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
- Must be 23+ years old with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Must bring your own hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles in a mobile field environment.
- Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
- Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to identify and fix issues.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
- Road test vehicles to ensure all repairs meet top-quality standards.
- Meet or beat industry-standard repair times.
- Work with trusted vendors to source parts.
- Take ownership of a company-issued service truck, perform maintenance and pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure safety compliance.
- Support team members wherever needed.
