This field-based role is perfect for skilled technicians who enjoy independence and variety in their work. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks, backed by a supportive team. You will tackle new challenges every day and take pride in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient service.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience working on Class 6-8 trucks.
• Expertise in DOT inspection and air brake repair.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.
• Ready for the outdoors – rain or shine at customer yards.
• Independent, dependable, and self-motivated.
• A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Must bring your own hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• Expertise in CNG engine systems is a huge plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks in a field environment.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to identify and fix issues fast.
• Put expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Road test vehicles to ensure every repair meets top-quality standards.
• Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
• Jump in wherever needed – we're a team that supports each other.
