About The Position

This is an entry-level position for maintenance personnel desiring a career path as a Mechanic or Electronic/Electrical Technician. Under direct supervision, you will gain knowledge of routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs of a variety of Halliburton equipment. You will assist maintenance technicians in performing more complex repairs before being broken out as a stand-alone Technician I. You will be responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations. The consequences of errors are easily measured and can be confined.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimal skills may also be acquired through a qualified technical school certificate or equivalent related experience.
  • Basic set of hand tools is required.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and clean MVR.
  • Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered.
  • Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • An A.S. degree or Certificate in Diesel Technology with previous experience as a mechanic working with heavy duty equipment.
