About The Position

iTA is the largest Navistar truck dealer in Louisiana, covering the New Orleans, Northshore, Slidell, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Lake Charles markets. iTA sells International-branded new trucks, and all makes and models of pre-owned used trucks and trailers, as well as providing outstanding service and parts to meet any fleets' needs. We are looking for a Skilled Full-Time Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our Service Department in Lake Charles, LA, working a Monday-Friday shift. The ideal candidate will be: Dependable and punctual; Have at least one-year experience working as a heavy-duty diesel tech.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• CDL License preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Able to troubleshoot, inspect, test and diagnose malfunctionings
• Perform routine PM, such as oil changes, checking/changing batteries, etc,
• Perform Warranty Maintenance
• Duties as assigned
