Diesel Mechanic / Technician
About The Position
I-State Truck Center is now hiring Diesel Technicians, Truck Technicians, Automotive Technicians, Lube Technicians, and Entry-Level Mechanics at our Marshfield, Wisconsin location. The shift is Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST. We offer paid training, career advancement opportunities, and a stable work environment with industry-leading brands. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, and related components, as well as performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repair work. Responsibilities include completing repair documentation, communicating effectively with service and parts personnel, and following established safety procedures and quality standards. Technicians will work on industry-leading products including Freightliner Trucks, Western Star Trucks, Detroit Engines, and Cummins Engines.
Requirements
- Entry-level to experienced Truck Technicians
- Diesel Technicians and Diesel Mechanics
- Automotive Technicians looking to transition into diesel repair
- Lube Technicians and General Mechanics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented individuals
Nice To Haves
- CDL is a plus
Responsibilities
