About The Position

Responsible for performing a variety of duties, including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on fleet and facility equipment in accordance with Company safety policies, applicable regulations, and established maintenance procedures. This position must maintain the highest degree of integrity, trust and confidence and must adhere to and practice the core values of Own It, Passionate, Honesty, and Respect in every facet of the position.

Requirements

Ability to read schematics, building plans, and repair manuals.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to follow instructions.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work unsupervised.
High School Diploma or GED.
Fleet maintenance or lube technician experience required.
Valid Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

Support diesel mechanics in daily activities.
Move lumber waste truck within the A-1 facility or to a vendor facility.
Pick up and transport A-1 vehicles to repair shop.
Drive the company pick-up truck for company requirements.
Complete purchases and pickups from local suppliers within applicable limitations.
Work as a team member with operations and other technicians to support the facility in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to understand workload and record actions (e.g., workorders, asset/labor history, inventory usage).
Communicate verbally and/or in writing with customers, suppliers, and associates.
Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment, as trained and authorized.
Perform or assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, golfcarts, and company vehicles (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.) according to procedures.
