Rexco Equipment is seeking a passionate and independent Field Technician to service customers on the road. This role involves hands-on work with heavy construction equipment, diagnosing and repairing machinery to keep customers operational. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in a positive team and family culture and is eager to contribute to an energetic and forward-thinking company.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three to five years of related experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Mastery of key performance metrics such as Technician Efficiency Rate, Recovery Rate, and Rework.
- Ownership of general tools of the trade.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment, including Bobcat and Link-belt excavators.
- Travel to customer locations in a service truck within Southeast Iowa.
- Perform occasional overnight travel as required.
- Accurately punch on and off work orders.
- Enter detailed service records into the computer system.
- Solve machine troubles for customers accurately and timely.
