About The Position

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, servicing, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of heavy equipment, pumps, generators, fusion equipment, trailers, and fleet vehicles. You'll work both in our shop locations and in the field, supporting critical operations by responding to equipment issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring our fleet remains reliable and ready for deployment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–3+ years of diesel engine diagnosis, repair, and maintenance experience
  • Previous experience performing field service or on-site equipment repairs
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, centrifugal pumps, trailers, mechanical systems, and heavy equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely operate company service vehicles
  • Willingness to participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience servicing Caterpillar, John Deere, Deutz, or Kohler industrial engines
  • Experience with Pioneer, Godwin, and Cornell pumps
  • Experience servicing McElroy Fusion Machines
  • Experience working on construction equipment, forklifts, telehandlers, loaders, and dozers
  • Oil & Gas, construction, industrial equipment, or field service experience
  • Personal mechanic hand tools

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel engines, pumps, generators, trailers, and heavy equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications
  • Service and repair Pioneer, Godwin, and Cornell pumps, industrial engines, fusion machines, generators, and construction equipment
  • Perform field service repairs at customer job sites and Keystone facilities
  • Complete work orders, maintenance records, and repair documentation accurately
  • Order parts, fluids, filters, and maintenance supplies as needed
  • Coordinate warranty repairs and scheduled maintenance for fleet assets
  • Operate company equipment and service vehicles safely
  • Assist with equipment inspections, testing, and operational readiness
  • Train employees on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures
  • Maintain organized service vehicles, tools, parts inventory, and work areas
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support after-hours emergency repairs
  • Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and fleet requirements
  • Perform additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned
