Kendall Ford of Eugene is seeking a Diesel Engine Repair and Performance Technician. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying necessary repairs on various vehicles. Responsibilities include performing adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts. The technician will use independent judgment, document all work and hours according to manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road test vehicles to ensure quality and issue resolution. The work environment is an indoor shop, requiring the use of mechanic's hand and power tools, and involves standing and walking for the entire shift. Frequent pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling are necessary to access all parts of vehicles. Lifting, pushing, and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds will occasionally be required.
