We’re seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles to the highest standard. Requirements
- Diesel repair experience required
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills on diesel engines and emissions systems
- Own a set of tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- ASE (including diesel/medium-heavy) and/or manufacturer certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, turbochargers, emissions (DEF/DPF/EGR), and after treatment systems
- Perform advanced electrical, driveability, and computer-related diagnostics on diesel platforms
- Complete maintenance, repairs, recalls, and manufacturer-recommended services to factory specification
- Complete thorough, honest multi-point inspections and document findings clearly
- Work efficiently to meet and exceed flag-hour expectations without sacrificing quality
- Communicate clearly and promptly with advisors and parts to keep promise times accurate
- Follow proper warranty and repair documentation so the story line supports the work
- Road-test to verify both the concern and the repair, and keep your bay and equipment clean and organized
