Die Setter - 3rd Shift

ClarkDietrichWarren, OH
Onsite

About The Position

The position requires an individual who can set up Stamping Presses used to manufacture metal components. In this role, the candidate will set a die in a stamping press, align the die and secure. Once installed, ensure correct material and feed material through the progressive die to produce a part. Adjustments may be required to the press as needed to obtain an acceptable part. Parts will then be checked to part drawings/quality inspection plans. Dies changeovers may, at times, require minor punch and button changes to obtain a different part configuration. These are considered In-Press changeovers. Anything outside of the minor changeovers will be pulled and sent to the Toolroom for work. In addition, through the production run, the candidate may be called to troubleshoot issues. When there is no die setter work available, this position will perform the duties of a Finished Goods Production Worker but will be compensated as a Die Setter. This position reports to the Clip Express Supervisor.
