About The Position

US Farathane is seeking an experienced Die Setter to perform machine setups for primary and secondary equipment, both scheduled and unscheduled. The role supports the company’s plastics manufacturing operations serving the automotive industry.

Requirements

• Experienced Die Setter.
• Able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent standing or walking, lifting or lowering objects up to 35 pounds, frequent reaching, and occasional bending, stooping, and crouching.
• Follow workplace safety requirements, including avoiding loose-fitting clothing around moving machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes according to the production schedule and handle emergency mold changes.
• Set up die-related functions, including watering, knockout, hot runners, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Repair fluid or air leaks related to dies.
• Change die inserts.
• Pull and reset die halves for die repair.
• Load and unload die-carrying trucks.
• Maintain the orderly appearance of die storage.
• Order die-setting supplies, keep them orderly, and remove them from molding machines when appropriate.
• Perform the initial shooting of die sets where applicable.
• Complete, submit, and file paperwork in a timely manner.
• Follow OSHA and safety rules and regulations, as well as USF policies and procedures.
