As a Press Helper, you will be on the front lines of producing high-quality labels for our customers. Our Press Helpers are critical in preparing print jobs and keeping our presses running. Requirements

Ability to lift dies that frequently weigh 50 pounds, occasionally up to 90 pounds.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Demonstrated good safety record.
Ability to handle physical workload on average 50lbs, maximum weight 90lbs
Basic math skills needed, including add, subtract, multiply, divide.
Ability to read a ruler.

Responsibilities

Pulls all dies for jobs as orders are scheduled into the computer system.
Checks dies to make sure they are in good shape for a press run.
Fills out paperwork and takes dies to shipping if they need to be retooled.
Takes dies to the appropriate press when jobs are scheduled.
Mounts dies into press and removes them from press when jobs are completed.
Refiles all dies at the completion of the job.
Perform routine operations related to Press Helper when Die Mounting complete.
Keep die inventory in good order.
Request repair for damaged dies.
Perform routine material handling duties, including but not limited to, hand trucks.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
