About The Position

Quad is hiring a Die Maker to support our specialty packaging operation. In this hands-on role, you'll build and maintain the tooling used to produce folding cartons, corrugated packaging, labels, inserts, and other printed products. You'll work with structural designers and manufacturing teams to create accurate, high-quality dies that keep production running efficiently. This is a long-term 2nd-shift position. Training will take place on 1st shift before transitioning to your regular 2nd-shift schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to understand measurements, specifications, and manufacturing instructions
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow job instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to train on 1st shift and transition to a long-term 2nd-shift schedule

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience working with die cutters or making die-cutting dies.
Experience in packaging, printing, converting, tooling, machining, or similar manufacturing environments is also valuable.
