About The Position

This role involves troubleshooting and repairing production dies using various tools and equipment. The operator will also be responsible for crane operation, maintaining a clean work environment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires the ability to work overtime, including weekends, and respond to emergency repair needs. Requirements

• Proficiency with welders (gas, arc, tig)
• Proficiency with grinders
• Proficiency with basic hand tools
• Crane operation skills
• Ability to work weekday and weekend overtime
• Ability to be called in for emergency repairs
• Ability to use hands to touch and handle objects
• Ability to hear and talk
• Ability to see, including close vision
• Ability to stand for long hours
• Ability to stoop, kneel, sit, climb, and balance
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production dies as needed, using welders (gas, arc, tig), grinders and basic hand tools.
• Crane operation in handling of dies
• Ability to be called in for emergency repairs.
• Ability to work weekday and weekend overtime.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of work area to ensure a clean work environment.
• Continuous improvement in quality, safety, productivity, and delivery.
• Other duties as required by management.
