About The Position
The Tool & Die Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating tooling and dies used in manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Office Suite
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Tool & Die Making or related field.
- Experience with CNC machining and programming
- Central Die Certification training
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance on tooling and dies to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoots and repairs tooling and die issues to minimize downtime
- Fabricates new tooling and dies according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Coordinates with production and engineering teams to support tooling needs
- Documents maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of tooling inventory
- Adheres to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance and repair tasks
