About The Position

Assist Die Cutting Operators and Department with set-up and running die cutting, stripping and blanking equipment fixtures. Maintain good quality, productivity, and work attitude. SHIFT: Monday – Friday, 1:45 – 10:15pm

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.
Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation.
Demonstrates a positive safety attitude.
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors.
Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
Frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Assist the Die Cutting Operators as required in their operations to optimize machine efficiency.
Ensure the proper jobs are readily available and are ready to run.
Re-pile loads as needed.
Assist in feeding the Die Cutter and removing completed loads.
Assist in cleaning the Die Cutter and any related equipment.
Perform job tasks per established procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness of the work area by regularly cleaning the area and emptying waste bins.
Aid the operators in maintaining die cutting, stripping, and blanking equipment fixtures.
Aid the operator in ensuring that an adequate quantity of production supplies is maintained.
Work overtime when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
