About The Position

Operates Offline Die Cutter Machine to develop end-result printed material in accordance with customer specifications. This role is part of the Manufacturing/Mechanical category and is located in Peachtree City, GA. The position is eligible for a Factory Incentive bonus.

Requirements

High School diploma (or GED) required.
Minimum of 3 years of offline Die Cutting experience in the folding carton industry required.
Experience with die cutters that have blanking capability required.
Must have interpersonal and communication skills.
Must possess basic computer skills and mathematical skills necessary to compute percentages, weights and measures.
Ability to perform a variety of make-readies, resolve defects, troubleshoot and make adjustments.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ISO standards.
Experience with cGMP.
Experience with HACCP Food Safety Requirements.
Experience with Chain of Custody Programs.

Responsibilities

Operate Die Cutter machine, troubleshoot and monitor operation.
Prepare Die Cutter by performing a variety of tasks to produce consistent, high-quality product by adjusting the die and register for pressure and cutting.
Perform a variety of make-ready tasks for high productivity and precision operations.
Resolve defects and adjustments to produce high-quality product.
Oversee General Technicians working on equipment.
Make adjustments and clear jams while processing product, maintaining speed and quality.
Ensure efficient and rapid make-ready, with unloading and loading.
Ensure quality of jobs completed by reviewing for quality and accuracy.
Ensure jobs are complete and error-free.
Ensure finished product exceeds customer expectations.
Ensure all checklists are completed.
Support and communicate all ISO standards and quality objectives.
Comply with cGMP, HACCP Food Safety Requirements and Chain of Custody Program Requirements.
Ensure complete adherence and compliance to OHSE policies.
Assist team members in maintaining clean and safe environment.
Maintain and follow all company policies and procedures for safety, personal protection and hazardous materials/waste handling according to established guidelines.
Follow all personal protection procedures by use of appropriate PPE at all times.
Follow established procedures and guidelines for the handling and disposal of all hazardous materials/waste.
Maintain and wear proper uniform according to company policy.
Use company-provided safety lifting equipment, including hoist, jacks, vacuum manipulators, etc.
Properly store and arrange work area to maintain cleanliness and safe environment following all safety rules and regulations for grounding, storage, spill clean-up, etc.
Interact with team and co-workers in a way that promotes respect, encourages cooperation and contributes to excellent performance.
Communicate accurate information to all team members in a professional and courteous manner that conveys a willingness to assist.
Accept direction and feedback from supervisor and follow through appropriately.
