About The Position

Die Corrector – Extrusion Die Shop Join a growing manufacturing team that produces high‑quality aluminum products used across industries nationwide. What You’ll Do Inspect, correct, assemble, and polish extrusion dies to ensure proper flatness, square‑ness, and overall quality. Receive and inspect new dies, create die folders, and prepare dies for their first production run. Make adjustments and corrections as needed to keep dies within tolerance. Maintain accurate logs of die locations, history, and condition. Delegate tasks to Die Runners and support them with staging, pulling, rinsing, drying, sandblasting, and caustic tank processing. Assist with die setup at the press and serve as a backup for Die Runner duties. Operate hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, barring squares, sanders, and flatness gauges. Process purchase orders for new dies with supervisor approval. QualificationsWhat You Bring Experience in die correcting (1+ year preferred). Background in welding, machining, or die repair is a strong plus. Ability to read die prints and use precision measuring tools. Experience operating a forklift and/or overhead crane. Basic data entry skills and comfort working with small hand tools. Familiarity with hazardous or caustic materials is helpful. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
