About The Position

STRATTEC Security Corporation is seeking a Die Cast Technician II to set up and operate die cast machines—including Conventional, Techmire, and Dyna Tech machines—to produce parts according to specifications. The technician adjusts, corrects, changes, or alters tools to maintain work quality and makes repairs in accordance with specifications. The role also troubleshoots equipment and makes corrective adjustments as needed. Candidates must be able to read prints and calculate measurements, and must pass a set-up operator test assessing these skills. A high school diploma or GED and prior die cast set-up experience are required. Pre-employment physical and drug screening, as well as a background check, are required. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior die cast set-up experience.
• Ability to read prints and calculate measurements.
• Pass the written test regarding blueprint reading, measurements, and math, as well as the set-up operator test.
• Complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Pass a background check.
