About The Position

Swing Shift Dicing Technician II Temp. This role is 100% onsite and involves highly repetitive working conditions. The primary shift is M-F 3:00pm - 11:30pm PST, with a shift differential applying. Training for this position will occur on dayshift (M-F 8am-4:30pm) until fully trained. Coherent Corp. is a global leader in lasers, engineered materials, and networking components. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with networked PC based computer systems.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Capable of applying basic math to product activities
• Ability to understand and interpret product drawings (blueprints)
• Ability to meet tight time schedules
• Familiarity with precision optics manufacturing and metrology

Responsibilities

• Performs hands-on operation of optical dicing process
• All optical sizing steps performed per procedure to a 0% reject standard.
• Quality of product and throughput rate meets or exceeds departmental goals.
• Product quality meets internal and external customer specifications.
• Works with the team to meet delivery goals
• Improve processes under the guidance of supervision.
• All steps are performed per policy and procedure
• Consistently prioritize safety in all aspects of daily operations.
