About The Position

We are seeking a Diamond Community Manager (DCM) to lead and elevate all performance-based fitness experiences at Altea Winnipeg. Overseeing the growth of both our Diamond, LF3, and Signature Studio departments, you will ensure our members receive the highest level of expert coaching, science-backed programming, and results-driven training. In this role, you will lead a team, coach small group workouts and get members results with a proven & successful training system. If you enjoy advanced programming, taking a results-based approach with clients and leading a group of coaches to evolve the experience they provide, this is the position for you. Enjoy a balanced schedule between coaching workouts, leading a team and onboarding/checking in with clients. The Diamond Community Manager is responsible for empowering their community with the tools to being strong, being healthy and being resilient for life! They are responsible for leading a team by example: believe in the system, participate in your teams’ classes, be obsessed with pushing results and always finding solutions for their team & clients. The DCM will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of the LF3 Studio & Signature Studio inside Altea Winnipeg, including onboarding, retention and accountability for all Diamond members. The Diamond Community Manager should have an in-depth knowledge of programming and leadership. They should be able to speak knowledgeably about the client journey and properly identify/prescribe the most appropriate plan for the member’s needs. The Manager should comfortable how to program a client’s training plan based on all available modalities Altea has to offer.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education relating to the health and fitness industry and additional certifications or workshops relating to fitness, health and wellness and sales are an asset.
  • A nationally recognized personal training certification is required and must be maintained throughout employment.  Additional certifications may be required to qualify for a pay level increase.
  • A broad understanding of injuries, disease, nutrition, and any conditions that may affect one's ability to perform exercise is necessary.
  • 3 + years’ experience working as a movement practitioner
  • 3+ years personnel management experience
  • All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR – Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
  • All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example! A Diamond Community Manager is someone who believes in the LF3 Method and practices what they preach by participating in their coaches workout sessions!
  • More leading by example! Coaching small group training sessions at the highest caliber amongst your team!
  • Work with the LF3 programming team to better optimize the communities experience.
  • Client check-ins - ensure clients have the appropriate training schedule and are motivated to ADHERE to their 7-Day training plan.
  • Capturing the heart and soul of the studio for social media - Show the community and help others understand what LF3 is all about.
