About The Position

DaVita is looking for a Dialysis Tech (PCT) to serve our patients at our Amherst Dialysis Center in Lorain, OH. This role involves direct patient care, providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment. PCTs care for up to 4-5 patients at a time, monitoring them before, during, and after dialysis treatment. This includes measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. The role also involves educating patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics and building long-term relationships with them. You will work as part of a cross-functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership, working under the supervision of an RN. Shifts can begin as early as 3:00 am and vary based on patient needs.

• Willingness to train.
• Willingness to work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Health care experience preferred including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.

Responsibilities
