Dialysis Tech Weekend Days
About The Position
Seeking a Dialysis Tech/Nursing Assistant for the Dialysis Unit/Float Pool at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) working days (7 am-7 pm) exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays. The role involves assisting the RN in the initiation and discontinuation of dialysis treatments, including cannulation of hemodialysis access. If not needed in the dialysis space, the individual will be utilized as a nursing assistant on the floor. The Dialysis Unit offers an opportunity to care for hemodialysis patients within Baptist Health Floyd without the need to travel between multiple hospitals.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- Previous Dialysis Tech/Nursing Assistant experience required.
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist the RN in initiation and discontinuation of dialysis treatment.
- Cannulation of hemodialysis access.
- Perform all other Nursing Assistant duties as assigned.
