About The Position

The Hemodialysis RN provides specialized, compassionate care to inpatients who need hemodialysis during rehabilitation. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art dialysis suite, the nurse supports patients’ recovery and quality of life through individualized care and meaningful patient relationships. The role also contributes to a supportive, collaborative environment and offers opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• At least 6 months of dialysis nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

• CRRN certification; assistance obtaining it may be available.
• At least 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hemodialysis care to inpatients.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
• Educate nursing staff about hemodialysis patient care, equipment, and standards of care.
