About The Position

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care in one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units. As part of a patient care team, RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes for patients facing chronic kidney disease. Requirements

Accredited nursing degree required
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated clinical excellence
Desire to collaborate with care teams
Ability to problem solve

Responsibilities

Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
Administer and chart all prescribed medications
Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
Document required patient education efforts
Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
Assist in medication inventory maintenance
Lead a small patient care team
Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
