About The Position

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care in one of their in-center hemodialysis units. As part of a patient care team, RNs are crucial in ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease. DCI emphasizes individualized care and offers a supportive clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio. The role involves direct patient care, education, and collaboration with physicians and families.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with the physician and families.
• Administer and chart all prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
• Document required patient education efforts.
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
• Lead a small patient care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed.
• Perform additional tasks as requested.
