About The Position
Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care in one of their in-center hemodialysis units. As part of a patient care team, RNs are crucial in ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease. Responsibilities
- Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
- Provide ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
- Administer and chart all prescribed medications
- Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
- Document required patient education efforts
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
- Assist in medication inventory maintenance
- Lead a small patient care team
- Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
- Perform additional tasks as requested
