About The Position

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care in one of their in-center hemodialysis units. As part of a patient care team, RNs are crucial in ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease. DCI emphasizes individualized care and offers a supportive clinical setting with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio. The role involves preparing dialysis machines, performing treatments, educating patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and adhering to infection control regulations. The position also includes contributing to team conferences, maintaining medication inventory, onboarding new staff, and other requested tasks. Responsibilities

  • Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
  • Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
  • Document required patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
  • Additional tasks as requested
