About The Position

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care in one of their in-center hemodialysis units. As part of a patient care team, RNs are crucial in ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease. DCI emphasizes individualized care and offers a supportive environment with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers. Responsibilities

  • Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
  • Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
  • Document required patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
  • Additional tasks as requested
