About The Position
Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is seeking a motivated and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This is a full-time float position serving DCI's in-center hemodialysis units in Cullman, Decatur, and Moulton. The RN will provide specialized nursing care as part of a patient care team, ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease. DCI emphasizes individualized care and offers a supportive work environment with a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio. The role involves preparing dialysis machines, performing treatments, educating patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and maintaining infection control standards. The position also includes contributing to team collaboration, onboarding new staff, and other requested tasks.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
- Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
- Administer and chart all prescribed medications
- Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
- Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
- Document required patient education efforts
- Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
- Assist in medication inventory maintenance
- Lead a small patient care team
- Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
- Additional tasks as requested
