About The Position

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and delegated activities of treatment to patients. The PCT will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN) for patients with renal failure.

Requirements

Must be a Patient Care Technician (PCT).
Must work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN).
Must be able to gather patient stats before and after treatment.
Must be able to initiate, monitor, and terminate treatment.
Must be able to collect patient blood samples per physician orders.
Must be able to prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments.
Must be able to clean and disinfect machines after treatment.
Must be able to conduct machine safety checks and log results.
Must use appropriate safety measures, including personal protective equipment.
Must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations.
Must participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.

Responsibilities

Work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment.
Gather patient stats before and after treatment.
Initiate treatment.
Monitor patients during treatment.
Terminate treatment.
Collect patient blood samples per physician orders.
Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments.
Clean and disinfect machines after treatment.
Conduct machine safety checks and log results for quality control.
Ensure all protocols and regulations are followed.
Use appropriate safety measures, including personal protective equipment.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations.
Participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
