About The Position

The Patient Care Technician Trainee (PCT Trainee) learns to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role learns to perform hemodialysis treatments in accordance with Satellite and local center policies and procedures, while helping provide quality care in a safe and professional environment. Training includes taking and monitoring patient vital signs, performing blood tests, documenting patient information, preparing and monitoring dialysis equipment, and cleaning equipment.

The position works directly with a multidisciplinary team to support patients with kidney disease and contribute to individualized, high-quality, compassionate care. Requirements

• High school diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO certification is required within 18 months from the hire date.
• For California locations only, CDPH CHT certification is required within 18 months from the hire date.

• One year of medical experience preferred.
