About The Position
The Dialysis Nurse is responsible for coordinating and providing individualized quality patient care based on the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This role requires travel between all campuses and taking on call. Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Pennsylvania and New Jersey required.
- Evidence of successful completion of BLS.
- One year medical/surgical experience preferred, or experience in hemodialysis.

Responsibilities
- Performs in depth, systematic assessment of all assigned patients.
- Formulates collaborative plan of care and identifies expected patient outcomes.
- Implements, evaluates and documents patient care interventions and effectiveness in accordance with the care plan.
- Organizes, coordinates and prioritizes patient care consistently utilizing available resources.
- Coordinates care of the patient with the Physician, Social Worker, Dietitian and other staff members.
- Functions as a professional role model and resource person providing guidance to co-workers.
- Maintains departmental records for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Participates in identifying unit needs and supporting unit goals and objectives then contributes to the growth of the Patient Care Services Department.
- Assumes responsibility for a clean, orderly environment.
