Dialysis Experienced Patient Care Technician for Hospital CCHT Required MWF
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Dialysis Certified Patient Care Technician to provide hands-on dialysis care in a hospital setting. This role involves delivering one-on-one dialysis care to patients with kidney disease, monitoring and recording vital signs, setting up dialysis machines, and observing treatment. The technician will also support patients physically and emotionally throughout their care, educate patients on dialysis-related topics, and collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members. Requirements
- Dialysis experience and certification/CCHT required
- Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
- Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina for long shifts (up to 12+ hours)
- Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience a plus (CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, CHT, BONENT certified)
